We Worship God
Worship Every Sunday 10:30 AM
Whoever You Are, Wherever you are on life's Journey, You are Welcome here.
We covenant to be an accessible, open and affirming community of faith, committed to peace and justice, reaching out in healing love to all of creation. We exist to worship God and practice the gospel. We welcome all persons, including those of all races, ethnicities, ages, sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions, family structures, faith backgrounds, abilities, and economic circumstances to fully share and participate in leadership, ministry, fellowship, worship, sacraments, responsibilities, blessings and joys of our church family.
In the breaking of bread, we remember and celebrate Christ's presence among us along with a 'cloud of witnesses' – our ancestors, family and friends who have gone before us. It is a great mystery; we claim it by faith.
Communion
every Second Sunday
of the month
All Are welcome to the table
Just as many grains of wheat are gathered to make one loaf of bread and many grapes are gathered to make one cup of wine, we, the many people of God, are made one in the body of Christ, the church.
Baptism
All persons baptized – past, present and future – are connected to each other and to God through the sacrament of baptism. We baptize during worship when the community is present because baptism includes the community's promise of 'love, support and care' for the baptized – and we promise that we won't take it back – no matter where your journey leads you.
Confirmation
Our church tradition recognizes that as children grew into adults, the child-like faith has to grow with them. Confirmation is a journey of youth who learn more and have the opportunity to take their first steps in becoming a mature Christian and a member of the body of Christ.
